Meet Our 2023 Summer Camp Instructors

Colleen McNamara

Hello! My name is Miss Colleen.  I am the owner of Stutelage Innovations, and I am excited to spend our 11th summer camp season with your children! I have been teaching in the classroom for over 12 years. I started my career as a literacy and math specialist and then became a 5th grade general education teacher in a co-taught special education classroom.  I love to travel, cook, and read.  When it comes to camps, I pride myself on being organized and thinking outside of the box.  I am teaching several camps this year at all three locations. I love to get messy, so I am eager to lead Slime Time for the 5th year in a row (of course, with new slimes!). I am also teaching the popular Floor Is Lava, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Chocolate Lovers Camp!

Kelly Abbott

Hi!  My name is Miss Kelly, and I am so excited to join the Stutelage Innovations team.  I have been teaching in the classroom for 25 years.  I have taught all subject areas in grades 4-6.  I am currently a 5th grade teacher who teaches math, science, and social studies.  I am a mother of 2 boys, ages 17 and 20.  I love spending time with family and friends.  I enjoy the outdoors and being creative.  I will be exploring the world of Unicorns and American Girl Dolls as the summer starts.  I will then venture into the science of GROSS things at Grossology camp and my love of art with different types of materials at Awesome Artists camp!

Melissa Dinelli

Hi everyone! This will be my first summer with Stutelage, and I couldn’t be more excited! I first discovered Stutelage when looking into summer camp options for my son. I was so impressed by the variety of popular themes and the fact that all instructors are NYS certified teachers. I decided to not only register my son for camp, but also to become part of the team! I have been a special education teacher for the last twelve years, and I plan to mirror my success in the classroom at camp by creating a positive environment, making connections, and having fun! I love spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our sassy beagle-mix named CeCe. I will be leading both Camp Carnival and Lilo and Stitch Camp this summer at all three locations. I can’t wait!
