Calling all patriotic citizens! Join us for a unique exploration of the United States and some of its most memorable moments in history. Buckle up as we travel back in time and experience life for Americans from many different time periods. We will collaborate to create an American flag-inspired artistic work and learn the lyrics and meanings of our nation’s anthem and patriotic songs. We will learn about the history of Independence Day and discover the origins of many of our most popular 4th of July traditions. Please bring a plain white T-shirt as we will create pride shirts to wear to our All-American BBQ on our last day of camp. Come explore our great nation and celebrate the freedom that we are so lucky to have! June 30 – July 3. 12:30 – 3:30pm. Suggested Ages: 7-16. Instructor: Daniel Schwagler.
