Little dog lovers will have fun learning about “man’s best friend” through imaginary play, arts and crafts projects, games, painting and cooking. Come learn about breeds, training, grooming, feeding and safety around dogs. Play-based, hands-on activities, such as adopting a stuffed dog, visiting the puppy salon, and meeting a veterinarian, will offer meaningful and engaging learning experiences for this age group. Other fun activities include face painting, puppy paper mâché, baking dog biscuits, doggy relay races and picture frame creation. And that’s not all! During the week, children will receive a surprise visit from Bella the Labrador mix, and have their picture taken with her as a keepsake. Come one, come all! August 18-22. 9:00am – 12:00pm.
