Are you dreading trying to get your child to focus on their summer math homework assigned by their schools when it’s beautiful outside? Are you worried about how to help your child with their work? It is important for students to continue to practice and perfect their skills over the summer months. New York State has adopted the Common Core State Standards which require students to think differently about math. Students must have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and be able to demonstrate their knowledge in more than one way. Let us help! During this week-long camp, students can bring their math packets and have the assistance of a highly qualified NYS math teacher who is trained and experienced with the Common Core instructional shifts. Students will learn positive study skills, enjoy some healthy study snacks, and have fun as they grow into a competent mathematician. We will take numerous breaks and the students will engage in stimulating math games and mental math practice. Let us take some of the stress out of your summer! $100
