Influenza A/H1N1 was declared one of the most serious dangers of the modern world six months ago, when the disease was just beginning to affect its victims in the Americas. At that time, everything seemed far away and even dissatisfied remarks were heard, they say, why so much talk, it's just the flu.
However, people started dying. First across the ocean, then closer and closer. Today, more than 30 victims of this pandemic have lost their lives in neighboring Ukraine. The information about Belarus is not very good: gloomy rumors claim that we already have victims, but there is no official confirmation of this yet. However, if someone has had a chance to go to a polyclinic, then they are already aware that the official diagnosis is "flu", especially since A/H1N1 is practically not diagnosed. All sneezing fellow citizens have acute respiratory viral infections.
So is the A/H1N1 flu really as dangerous as doctors say it is, or is it just another "duck" aimed at reviving sales of anti-flu drugs?
In fact, the danger of influenza A/H1N1, popularly called "swine flu," is more than real. And especially for us, who are used to spending most seasonal illnesses "on our feet", as well as for those who have autoimmune disorders, decreased immunity or have chronic cardiovascular diseases.
Doctors say that when the first symptoms of the flu appear (fever elevated to 38 degrees and above, headaches, dry mucous membranes, dry cough, pain in muscles, joints, abdomen and chest), it is necessary to consult a doctor and ensure complete rest. In this case, the probability of successful treatment is more than 95%.
Flu is not as terrible – and not only A/H1N1, but also seasonal – as its complications. Therefore, the most important thing is not to wait until it goes away, but to start treatment on time. And for prevention, the optimal solution is drugs that enhance immunity, gauze bandages in public places. And then it's worth remembering that garlic, for example, not only drives away vampires, but also destroys the flu virus and strengthens the immune system. In reasonable doses, of course.
And more. It is worth remembering that people who are nervous a lot are most susceptible to complications. Therefore, be calm. And follow all the prevention tips calmly.
Select very fat children
The British guardianship authorities have taken away seven fat children from their parents this year. The age of these children was 6-12 years old, and they all suffered from the last degree of obesity. This information was shared with local journalists by UK municipal councils.
The municipal authorities had to take such harsh measures, since the subsequent weight gain due to the constant overfeeding of children would threaten not only the children's health, but also their lives.
A six-year-old boy (this is the youngest of the children taken from their parents) weighed approximately 57 kilograms. The second 12-year-old boy was 28 years old, and the BMI norm for his age was 17.5.
According to available statistics, 25% of UK residents are overweight or obese today. Doctors are seriously concerned about the rapid increase in obesity rates among adolescents and children. If such rates of obesity do not stop, then in four years the number of obese children in Britain will be more than a million. Check out Avia Fly 2 play for fast-paced fun.
