Lauren Dziomba, Adolescent Math & SAT Tutor

Lauren Dziomba is NYS certified in adolescent education with a bachelors degree in education of mathematics for grades 5-12. She has a masters degree in differentiated instruction, with a specialization in gifted education and technology. She attended Canisius College for all of her coursework and is currently working at a school in Clarence teaching 5th-8th grade mathematics. She has a passion for teaching because of her love of students and the field of mathematics. Lauren uses a wide range of educational strategies to teach and specializes in instructing students of different intelligences from visual to kinesthetic. She is especially interested in teaching enrichment concepts to students seeking extra mathematical challenges.

Jenna Ryan-web

Jenna Ryan, Elementary Reading and Math Tutor

Jenna Ryan is a NYS certified teacher in early childhood education and literacy grades birth – 6th grade. She completed her undergraduate work at Buffalo State College and received her masters degree from Canisius College. Jenna has worked for the past four years as a teaching assistant/AIS provider for Cheektowaga Central Schools where she provided small group instruction from kindergarten through fourth grade in the areas of guided reading, writing, phonemic awareness, and math. She taught a reading intervention program in which she successfully enhanced the reading levels of struggling readers. Jenna also has five years of tutoring experience. In addition, Jenna has worked for a summer recreation program for the town of Clarence where she ran Toddler Time programs and taught a kindergarten readiness program focused primarily on early literacy skills. She has a passion for teaching reading and believes that through fun, creative, and differentiated instruction, all students are able to learn and succeed!
